About these terms
These terms apply when a consumer buys goods from Bramble & Blade
Paper Co. through this website. Please read them before placing an order.
By ordering, you agree to these terms.
Complete before publishing
Add the legal name of the business owner or registered company, the
business postal address and the company or VAT number if applicable.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any rights that cannot legally
be excluded under UK consumer law.
02
Products and descriptions
Bramble & Blade sells greetings cards, envelopes, mixed boxes,
trade packs and selected custom products. Product pages describe the
design, quantity, materials, finish and other important features.
Reasonable care is taken to display colours and product details accurately.
Screens and devices can show colours differently, so a small variation
between the image and the printed product is not a fault. Paper and print
finishes may also have minor natural variations between production runs.
Product packaging may change where this does not materially affect the
product. All products remain subject to availability.
03
Placing and accepting an order
Check the products, quantities, personalisation, delivery address and
contact details before submitting an order. The checkout should provide
an opportunity to correct mistakes before payment.
An acknowledgement that an order has been received does not necessarily
mean it has been accepted. A contract is formed when Bramble & Blade
confirms acceptance or dispatch, whichever happens first.
An order may be refused or cancelled before acceptance if a product is
unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, an obvious pricing error has
occurred, delivery is not available to the address supplied or the order
appears fraudulent. Any payment already taken will be returned.
04
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes unless
clearly stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately before
the order is submitted.
Payment must be made using one of the methods offered at checkout.
Bramble & Blade may use a third party payment provider to process
payment securely.
If an obvious pricing or description error is discovered before an order
is accepted, the customer will be contacted and given the choice of
confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it.
05
Personalised and custom work
Customers are responsible for checking names, dates, spelling, punctuation
and other supplied content. Where a proof is provided, production will
begin only after the proof has been approved.
By supplying words, images or artwork, the customer confirms that they
have permission to use them and that the material does not infringe another
person's rights. Bramble & Blade may decline unlawful, abusive,
discriminatory or infringing material.
Cancellation of custom goods
The normal right to cancel because of a change of mind does not usually
apply to goods made to the customer's specification or clearly
personalised. This does not affect rights where goods are faulty,
damaged or not as described.
06
Production and delivery
Most products are printed to order and are normally ready for dispatch
within five working days. Larger packs, trade orders and custom work may
require longer. Any different timescale will be shown or agreed.
Delivery options, charges and estimates are shown during checkout.
Goods will be delivered within 30 days after the contract is made unless
another time has been agreed.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery
address. If a parcel is returned because the address was incorrect or
delivery was not accepted, a reasonable additional delivery charge may
apply before it is sent again.
Responsibility for the goods passes to the customer when they, or a person
they nominate, receives them. Ownership passes after full payment has been
received.
07
Cancellation, returns and refunds
For most non personalised goods bought online, the customer may cancel
without giving a reason by telling the studio within 14 days after the day
the goods are received. The goods must then be returned within a further
14 days.
Unless goods are faulty or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the
return postage and for taking reasonable care of the goods. A deduction
may be made where handling has reduced their value beyond what would
reasonably be allowed when examining them.
A refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of
receiving the returned goods, or acceptable evidence that they have been
sent back. The original standard delivery charge will be refunded, but any
extra cost for an enhanced delivery option will not.
Full instructions are available on the
Delivery & Returns
page.
08
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If anything arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact the studio as
soon as possible with the order number and photographs where helpful.
Depending on the circumstances and the law, the customer may be entitled
to a refund, repair or replacement. Reasonable return costs will be covered
where goods are faulty or incorrect. These terms do not affect statutory
rights.
09
Website content and intellectual property
The Bramble & Blade name, card designs, photographs, illustrations,
copy and website content belong to Bramble & Blade or are used with
permission. They may not be copied, reproduced, sold or used commercially
without written permission.
The website may be used for personal shopping and information. It must not
be misused, interfered with or used to introduce malicious code.
10
Responsibility and liability
Bramble & Blade is responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable
result of breaching these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
It is not responsible for loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen
when the contract was made.
Products supplied to consumers are intended for private use. Bramble &
Blade is not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue,
opportunity or business interruption unless separately agreed in writing.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for death or personal injury
caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of
statutory consumer rights or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
11
Events outside reasonable control
Bramble & Blade is not responsible for delay caused by events outside
reasonable control, such as severe weather, disruption to postal services,
supplier failure, fire, flood or interruption to essential systems.
Customers will be contacted where possible and reasonable steps will be
taken to reduce the effect of the delay.
12
Changes, validity and governing law
The terms that apply are those in force when the order is placed. If any
part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining
parts will continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A consumer living
in Scotland or Northern Ireland keeps any mandatory rights to bring
proceedings in the courts where they live.
